I don't believe I have ever met a more wonderful human being than Don. He always made the best of whatever life threw at him. I can only hope to live as full as Donnie did. I miss him dearly and will never forget his compassion and love for everyone that was lucky enough to have known him. Don, I know your spirit with always be with us.
Love Dean

On behalf of the Vancouver Hospice Society I would like to say a big thank you to Don for his generous support from our earliest beginning. Don, you had real faith in us and we won't let you down. We'll have a hospice up and running to support our community as you would want. Our condolences to Jeanne and family on the loss of such a special, caring person. Our thoughts are with you all at this time.

Donnie Boy,

There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about you or hear your voice calling my name--- "billy boy". Life is not as fun without having you to tease or talking about the track. When football season comes around my phone will not be ringing any more with your voice "billy get me the lines on today's game and call me right back".
Donnie--you were the "best". There will never be another one like you. I miss you dearly. Luv you, Billy

So sorry to hear of your family's loss. Sam and I so enjoyed attending Calum and Kelsey's wedding last August and meeting many of Calum's family. Hoping you find comfort in all of the wonderful memories. Thinking of you all.

My summer in your house was one of the best I have ever had. You all were so generous opening up your house for me to stay for the summer. I vividly remember Don coming to pick me up at the airport when I arrived into Vancouver. He was one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He was infinitely kind and generous.

My favorite memory of Don was the infamous story of when he and I setting out to drink a bottle of Balantines Scotch at 3 in the morning. We were still going strong at 8 in the morning when Jeanne came down. Unfortunately Don and I were singing at the top of our lungs to the proclamors. When Jeanne came into the living room Don was shouting Scotland over and over again. That was the point where we had both pushed Jeanne too far and she snapped the cd in half and threw it across the room. I can still remember Don sheepishly saying "Oh no I think I'm in trouble". I still have the broken proclamors cd at my parents place on the east coast.

The two of you Jeanne and Don, were the most generous, kind people. I wish to give my deepest condolences to you all: Jeanne, Iain, Calum, and of course Graham in this very difficult time. My thoughts are with you all.
